All cookies used by Zabiya are strictly necessary for the service to work. No third-party advertising, profiling or intrusive analytics cookies.
3. Local storage on mobile
The Zabiya app uses SharedPreferences (Android) / NSUserDefaults (iOS) to remember:
- Language, theme, prayer calculation method
- Approximate GPS position (qibla, lazy refresh)
- Adhan notification preferences
- Quran School progress, Hifz, dhikr counter
This data stays on your device and is only synced to our servers if you create a logged-in account.
4. Managing cookies
- Browser: Settings → Privacy → Clear cookies. Disabling essential cookies may break the site.
- Mobile app: Settings → Privacy → Clear local data.
5. Changes
This policy may be updated. The date at the top of this page indicates the last revision.
